J.J. Ohrem Spedition Gmbh & Co. KG is an internationally operating forwarding agency. In the silo field it has specialized in transporting and storing bulk material. In the tank field it has specialized in transporting hazardous material.
The company is family-owned and was founded in the early thirties by Johann-Josef Ohrem. Since 1966, Hans Ohrem has been sole manager of the company.
Since 1983, the company’s headquarters have been located in the industrial area Hürth-Knapsack. In addition, the company has a subsidiary in Saxony-Anhalt, which was opened in the “Chemiepark Bitterfeld”, shortly after opening of borders in 1990.
Currently, the company’s fleet comprises 56 vehicles, consisting of 31 tank trucks, 22 bulk material transporters, 2 tipping container vehicles and 1 tarp truck. Currently, 76 employees are working at J.J. Ohrem.
